Arizona Disability Insurance

What is Disability Insurance?

Many people have heard the term but few really understand what it is. Disability insurance is a form of insurance that protects your income should something happen that causes you to stop earning an income. This usually entails some sort of accident or illness that forces you to stop working for a period of time or permanently. While protected by disability insurance a percentage of your normal income is still paid out to you each month. This means that you are able to keep on living with dignity even though you may have been laid low by fate.

From Alaska to Arizona, Disability Insurance is a Must

Even though it is useful, few people consider disability insurance a necessity. It does not matter if you are a fisherman in Alaska or an office worker in Arizona, disability insurance can help you. Most people are covered by some form of disability insurance through the auspices of their employer but just as many are not. Make sure you know what the status of your disability insurance is. Do not be caught by surprise!
